Jay
Peak On
Sunday, March 19th, 42 travelers departed Jacksonville for a fun-filled
Spring Break in Jay Peak, Vermont. We were greeted at the Burlington
airport by our resort reps and three feet of fresh snow! Jay Peak
is a quaint resort with amazing skiing and a true “New England”
feel. Everyone at the resort made us feel welcome with parties and
activities every day. Gourmet dinners and full-buffet breakfasts
were included and gave everyone on the trip a chance to mingle and
get to know each other. The ski conditions were fantastic and nearly
everyone took advantage of the free lessons. We also took advantage
of our closeness to Canada and snuck away for a day trip of sightseeing
and shopping in Montreal. Sledding on the hill behind our condos
was a hit with all the kids, as was the maple sugar/dairy farm tour.
This all-inclusive trip made it easy for parents to sit back and
relax and enjoy their vacation. A Sunday departure and Saturday
return also gave families some much-needed extra time. This was
our first visit to Jay Peak and we will definitely return!
