December 15-22 Snowmass, Colorado (All schools - Christmas Break) Trip Leader: Barb Wilson (904) 465-7413 An old time favorite returns to the Jacksonville Ski Club. Ski-in ski out lodging. Five day lift tickets included with the possibility of skiing all four Snowmass/Aspen Mountains.
Ski Socials to be announce January 12-19 FSC - Heavenly – Lake Tahoe – California/Nevada Trips Leaders: Bob Thompson (407) 383-0666 and Diane Hancharik (904) 940-0718 Join 800 + skiers and snowboarders from Florida. This Florida Ski Council Trip includes a 5-day lift ticket, Nastar Racing, parties, mountain picnic lunch and many activities with 14 clubs from Florida. Accommodations are hotel rooms at Harvey’s Casino and it is just 1500 feet to Heavenly’s Gondola. Jan 26 (Sat)–Feb 2 (Sat) Beaver Creek, Colorado Trips Leaders: Debra Andrews (904) 386-7108 and Hal Curette (904) 703-5575 This trip includes all transportation and slope side lodging (deluxe condo accommodations) and a 5 day lift ticket that is good at Beaver Creek and Vail. The Meadows Condominiums are just a short walk to Beaver Creek Village which is a unique mix of western hospitality and European charm.

Ski daily at Mont Sainte Anne, Stoneham or Le Massif; or enjoy the exciting side trips and the many extras and activities of this Florida Ski Council Trip.

Telluride is located at an end of a box canyon and is one of the most beautiful places you’ll ever ski. Seven nights lodging in lift side condominiums and skiing for everyone. This will be the ski trip not to miss. March 8-14 FSC – Swiss Alps March 15-21 Zurich & Paris Extension Trip Leader: Hal Davis (904) 287-1539 In the heart of the Swiss Alps lies the charming and exclusive resort of Crans-Montana. Excellent skiing, cafes, night life and well planned Florida Ski Council activities are all part of this exciting Swiss Skiing and Touring Adventure. You can either extend your trip after your week in Crans-Montana for another week to Zurich and Paris Extension or fly home. March 29-April 5 Keystone, Colorado – Spring Break (Duval and Clay) Trip Leaders: To be announced The JSC will be staying at the River Run Resort which is located in the heart of Keystone Village. The Gondola is an easy stroll away. The trip package will include a 5-day lift ticket that are also good for skiing at Breckenridge, A-basin, Vail and Beaver Creek. Keystone also offers night skiing so you have the opportunity to ski from 8:30 AM until 9 PM. Spring skiing at its best, Keystone features a state-of-the-art terrain park, great snow and skiing for all levels. Snowmobile on the Continental Divide and tubing nightly are great options.

August 2008 Argentina – Buenos Aires and Bariloche – South America Co-trip leaders Linda Walker (904) 536-1021 and Sally Evans (904) 477-1490 will lead this exciting adventure. Leave Jacksonville’s 95 degree heat and ski during the South America’s winter with the Florida Ski Council. More details to come.
