Nestled against the Wasatch Front on the west flank of the Rocky Mountains is a little bit of paradise called Ogden, Utah. And this is Ogden Ski Week! Join 31 other JSC skiers and more than 300 other folks from ski clubs across the country as we convene in Ogden for a great week of skiing
and experiencing all that this great destination has to offer. Ogden receives upwards of 400 inches of snow annually and boasts not one, but two
great ski mountains for you to enjoy.

LODGING: Deluxe Guest Room at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Ogden. Complete with all the amenities you come to expect from a Marriott property, this hotel is also smoke-free. All rooms come with coffee makers and complimentary coffee and tea. There is free high-speed internet in each guestroom. The hotel is also within walking distance of historic 25th Street featuring unique restaurants, bars, shopping, and more.

MOUNTAIN FACTS: Snowbasin Resort - Skiing Magazine’s 2007 rankings of resorts put Snowbasin, a Sun Valley Resort, in its top ten while SKI Magazine’s readers’ survey named it third overall in service, second in on-mountain food and first for lifts. Nearly 3,000 vertical feet on over 2,800 acres of varied terrain serviced by 12 lifts including two high-speed gondolas providing a capacity of 14,500 skiers per hour: 7% novice, 29% intermediate, 34% expert and 30% expert only. The resort features a superpipe, three terrain parks and a tubing hill. Make sure you take time for lunch at any of the three lodges. Powder Mountain - In the October 2006 issue of SKI Magazine, readers ranked Powder Mountain the number one resort for snow and also for value. Located just 19 miles northeast of Ogden, Powder Mountain, at 5,500 acres, boasts more acreage than any other resort in the U.S. There are 2,100 feet of vertical terrain serviced by 7 lifts and snowcats: 10% novice, 50% intermediate and 40% expert.
Complete with two terrain parks.
